How You Can Help

Five days that change how a kid sees themselves

Conducted by Denton's own professional firefighters in a structured setting, Fire Camp teaches teamwork, physical fitness, problem-solving, and the confidence that comes from doing hard things alongside people who believe in you.

Campers train on fire extinguishers, hose handling, basic first aid, and team-building challenges. Denton schools select the students, and the week ends with a graduation ceremony surrounded by family. Keeping it free for every family is only possible with community support — and the most direct way to help is by feeding the camp.

Preferred Way to Help

Sponsor a Meal

Sponsoring a meal is the simplest and most appreciated way to support Fire Camp. It puts your contribution directly in front of the campers and skips the paperwork entirely.

Camp Lunch

~30 people

Provide lunch for the campers and instructors on any camp day, Monday through Thursday. Your business is recognized that day and across Denton Fire Department social media.

Family Graduation

~75 people

Cater the Friday graduation celebration where campers, families, and firefighters gather. The highest-visibility meal of the week, in front of the entire camp community.

Sponsoring From Out of Town?

You do not have to be local to feed the camp. Here is the easiest path:

1

Pick a Local Restaurant

Choose one of the Denton restaurants below. Each has catered Fire Camp before, so they already know the drill.

2

Purchase the Meal

Contact the restaurant directly and arrange to purchase a meal for ~30 (a camp lunch) or ~75 (the family graduation).

3

Coordinate Delivery

Have the restaurant contact Captain Hunter Lott to lock in the delivery date and time.

4

You're Done

The restaurant delivers to camp on the day. We handle the rest and make sure your business is recognized.
