This calculator uses the DFRRF benefit formula (Plan Document, Section B.2, effective January 1, 2011) to estimate your retirement income. Your actual benefit is computed by the Fund administrator using your verified salary history and service records. Log in to the DFRRF Member Portal for your official calculation.
Estimate only. Salary data shown is from the FY 2024-2025 Civil Service Fire Pay Plan (effective January 4, 2025), not actual payroll records. Your real Average Monthly Salary is computed from your highest 78 consecutive bi-weekly pay periods, which includes overtime and other eligible compensation. This calculator uses base pay as a starting point. Contact Gary Calmes at gary@dentonfirepension.com for official benefit estimates.
