The DFRRF is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees responsible for managing fund assets, setting investment policy, and ensuring benefits are paid as promised. The Board meets the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 AM at Central Fire Station (332 E. Hickory St., Denton). Meetings are open to all members.
The Board contracts with outside professionals who handle day-to-day administration, actuarial analysis, investment advice, custodial services, and property management.
